      E-safety

As we are moving forward with advancing technology, the information and knowledge that can be gained from using the internet is paramount. As a school, it is our passion for learning and teaching through the medium of technology that will encourage lifelong learning within your children. As we are so passionate about this, we believe that it is vitally important that we teach children the skills of using the internet safely, so that they too can reap the benefits. We are committed to sharing the important messages about online safety. Through daily activities and learning, children are developing a growing knowledge of the uses of the internet and are gaining further knowledge on how to keep safe when doing so.

As a school, we are working with eTreble9, Social Media Police who have developed a whole school approach to social media safety and online reputation management training.

Additionally, eTreble9 have developed a unique peer-to-peer empowerment programme to help young people support their classmates with any social media or online gaming matters. Called the eCadet Scheme, it ensures eSafety runs throughout our school. See our eCadets page for more information.

Click here to visit www.schoolbeat.org, a bilingual site providing information and resources for officers, teachers, pupils and parents, providing educational crime prevention information for all members of the community. This site also contains great information and games for children regarding staying safe online.
